How artificial intelligence is helping contain the COVID-19 pandemic

As containment measures have expanded across the globe, the pace of work of the scientific community to understand the nature and mechanisms of VOCID-19 virus spread has grown to frenetic levels, in order to find a vaccine as soon as possible. However, one fact that is going unnoticed is the contribution that technology is making to all this progress.

Specifically, the artificial intelligence sector, since the beginning of the process, has been working tirelessly behind the scenes to offer solutions that allow overcoming the intrinsic limitations of human knowledge in this overwhelming task. In this article I briefly describe some examples of how this is taking place.
